Feasibility Study for the establishment of the mobile wood chipping facilities in KZN

The Wood and Wood Products Sector (primarily consisting of forestry, saw-milling, wood components, pulp and paper) is one of the sectors identified by the KZN provincial Industrial Development Strategy (IDS) as having high potential to create jobs, contribute to economic growth and reduce poverty.

The objective of the feasibility study was to determine the viability of establishing a mobile wood-chipping unit in one or more commercial forests in KZN.
